One mile south is the famous snorkeling beach, Kahaluu.  Kahaluu offers easy access to the undersea population of green sea turtles and colorful tropical fish of every description.  After a glorious day in the sun, it is just a short stroll back to White Sands Beach to watch a spectacular romantic Kona sunset.  If you get lucky, you may see the famous green flash.

The active volcano is about a 95-mile drive.   Championship golf courses, tennis, sailing…all surrounded by lush tropical gardens…black sand beaches and the world's finest sport-fishing pursuing the Pacific Blue Marlin, some over 1000 pounds are just some of the attractions nearby
